Before you get any kind of animal, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! If you want a particular breed, do an on line search. Go to the library. Find out as nuch as you can about particular breeds. Learn about what goes into taking care of them. Then go to your local ASPCA or pet rescue. Ask about breed rescues. You will be giving a home to an animal that is in dire need.
Not all dogs need to be kept indoors, your right though. Every animal and person on this planet needs love!! Dogs especially they give so much and are endless sources of companionship and joy. It breaks my heart when I see videos like this. Although I make myself watch them after all the suffering they have been through the least I can do is give, six mins of my life!! I am a 13 year old. And i am proud to say that i have never baught a dog from a pet store. Every dog i have had they are from a shealter, or we have found them on the streets, or from poeple who just could not take care of them. If you coul do the same… then maybe we all could help stop this mess. And dogs are not ment to be kept out side all year round, or used for work… THEY ARE FAMILY! AND THEY NEED LOVE!

A lot of those dogs do have problems I agree but before my grammi died she bought a chihuahua puppy from a pet store and he’s as happy as ever.
But you never hear about people being bred in cages and animals aren’t given the same treatment EVER!!!
Animals are just little people in fur coats, the animals at my house aren’t pets, THEY”RE FAMILY!!
my brother bought a dogs from a pets store 17 year ago it has hip problem the pet store told him we will take it back but he could not do that to a dog cause they would killed it she gave him 17 year of good life so please stop puppy mills call your governor in your state do what ever you have to do to stop it
i think that there are much more things then that,
there shouldnt be who comes first and who comes second,every issue in this world should be taken care of as soon as possible, this video is just a place to start making a difference so we can have less and less issues in the world,one at a time,and some people start with animals,some start with global warming,some start with hungry kids,so it doesnt matter what issues you are trying to stop,you just have to atleast be aware of one issue.

ok i care about animals and stuff, but wat about the kids that r standing on the street that r cold and stuff?!?! it seems like ppl dont care about kids anymore, all they care about r animals. kids first, animals second.

Thank you for making this video. I’m watching Oprah’s repeat of the puppy mill episode and it is so disturbing and heartwrenching. My family always gets our cats from shelters and I’m going to do so in the future.

Most people don’t realize that you can get puppies and kittens at a shelter.
It’s about time that we put an end to puppy mills. No living creature should be forced to live in these horrific and deploreable conditions. Thank you so much for posting this video. Everyone please, find your next best friend at a shelter.
