my dog is a stud pup from a puppy mill he has serious mental problems.
Its so horrible… Peoples dont know what kind of life the dogs in there.

I really liked how you touched the surfaceo of yet another problem with buying dogs in petshops, poor health. So many people are not only ignorant of puppy mills but also of the affects of them on their future pets, etc.
I’d love to write a ‘how to’ book on buying puppies or kittens. The first rule would be: DON’T BUY A PUPPY OR KITTEN. Problem solved. =p
you’re right, they will be euthanized …but the pet shop lost money. Regardless an animal will die, one in the pet shop or one in the pound. if we can get enough people to boycott buying from pet shops they will not make money and they will close. yes it will be a loss as the animals may lose their lives, but it is for a greater cause. when the demand goes away, the need for puppy mills will as well.
what’s not mentioned is that because of the poor breeding conditions, these “purebred” puppies are sometimes born with chronic health problems. i def. advocate adopting from shelters. i found both of my dogs roaming the streets as puppies! if you MUST have a purebred, demand to see the parents and where the dogs are raised!!! that’s what you pay all that money for! not for a sick abused dog
but if you dont buy the puppies then they spend their lives in another cage and are eventually killed or sent back to the puppy mill what should you do?!?! i hate puppy mills

@stephbrazilianlov I completey agree, no NOT support breeders in ANY trade – they are plenty of animals at your local shelters ans rescue centers looking for forever homes. DO NOT support this trade.

Thats totally messed up. We’re supposed to treat animals with respect and love. Those people should experiance what those dogs are having. We need to stop this no matter what.
I SERIOUSLY hope you aren’t trying to be intelligent by saying that. FYI there are HUNDREDS of stories of dog’s saving human lives. They’re pain is not beneath us. Pain and suffering is equal in every species. I may not agree with Peta on everything, but I do agree with them on that.
